Hi, I'm Grace. I've been part of the salon since I was 14, when I started as an after-school helper. Back then I was sweeping floors, making coffees and soaking up everything happening around me.
At 16, while I was studying Graphic Design, I kept working here after school. Even though I enjoyed design, I realised I loved being in the salon even more.
After finishing my course, I decided to work here full-time before making it official and starting my hairdressing apprenticeship. I'd already picked up so much from being around the salon for years, so I had a bit of a head start.
Now I'm just over a year into my apprenticeship and have started learning cutting and foiling. Every week I'm building my confidence, learning new skills, and loving the challenge.
It's pretty special to have grown up in the salon and now work alongside my aunt every day. I can't wait to keep learning and welcome more of you into my chair!
